Unlock Africa aimed to connect buyers, suppliers, and distributors between the UK and the rapidly expanding African market. The project focused on creating a platform that facilitated trade and collaboration by providing access to comprehensive lists of distributors and suppliers, their contact information, and locations. The platform also included features for messaging, list sorting, map views, and advanced filters for company size and industry. As a UX/UI designer, I was responsible for designing the landing pages, registration process, and the core product dashboard. My focus was on creating a user-friendly and intuitive interface that streamlined the trade process. This involved designing clear and concise data visualization, robust search and filtering functionalities, and intuitive navigation. I also ensured the platform was responsive and accessible across various devices, catering to the diverse user base.
